About Us
Marguerite (Meg) Grindrod, CNM
Meg lives with her husband Stuart 40 miles south of Rochester in the rural Finger Lakes region. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, sewing, singing, reading, and cooking, and spending time with her family- four grown sons who were all born at home, and three delightful grand children.
She has been practicing midwifery for over thirty years and has assisted in over 1000 deliveries.
Meg is a licensed midwife in the state of New York. CNMs are required to participate in continuing education and peer review.
Sarah Cayer, CPM, CM
Sarah enjoys homesteading and playing with her three amazing born-at-home children. She is a CPM (Certified Professional Midwife) and a CM (Certified Midwife), and is a specialist in homebirth.
During her clinical training, she had the opportunity to work with four midwives in separate practices to gain an array of valuable experiences. In order to maintain her midwifery certification, Sarah attends continuing education workshops regularly, participates in peer review workshops, and remains certified in CPR/NRP at all times.
Meg and Sarah have been partners since 2005, and both are New York State licensed midwives.
