Marguerite (Meg) Grindrod, CNM
Meg lives with her husband Stuart 40 miles south of Rochester in the rural Finger Lakes region. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, sewing, singing, reading, and cooking, and spending time with her family- four grown sons who were all born at home, and three delightful grand children.
She has been practicing midwifery for over thirty years and has assisted in over 1000 deliveries.
Meg is a licensed midwife in the state of New York. CNMs are required to participate in continuing education and peer review.
Martha Boudakian, CNM
Martha has been a midwife for 15 years. She has served rural and urban communities, providing hospital-based homestyle midwifery care and well woman care. She is also fortunate to have worked as a midwife and women’s health care consultant and educator in Armenia, where she lived with her family for several years.
Martha is board certified as a nurse midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board and she maintains her certification through continuing education.
Martha and her partner Vincent have two lively daughters, both born gently into the hands of midwives. In addition, she is a dedicated practitioner of yoga, and she enjoys weaving, cooking, international travel, and hiking.
Sarah Cayer, CPM, CM
Sarah enjoys homesteading with her husband and playing with her wonderful children. Her family has a small farm in Conesus, NY. She is a CPM (Certified Professional Midwife) and a CM (Certified Midwife).
Sarah has worked primarily in the home setting but also has hospital experience from her time working as a midwife in Canada. During her clinical training, homebirth and natural birth were the primary focus. She has had the pleasure of attending over 400 deliveries.
She is a New York State Licensed midwife and has been with Welcome Home Midwifery since 2005.
